The backpack in petite size  retains all the luxurious features of our bags – red silk lining, front pocket, while the shoulder straps have been padded for extra comfort.

Material: Black full grain calf leather from Bologna, Italy. This full grain calf leather has been created exclusively for us by the leading Italian artisanal tannery. It is the ‘caviar leather’ and ages beautifully. The natural grain surface of the skin makes each piece unique. This is one of the most expensive calf skins you can buy and should give pleasure for generations.
External details: Mirrored gold-tone hardware, red fabric lining.

Story

  • The model is named after the Aspazijas Boulevard in Riga, which was named after a great Latvian poetress and playwright Aspazija (real name Elza Johanna Emilia Lizete Rozenberg, 1865-1943). She was an incredibly talented and strong personality. Her life story is wrapped up with legends and mysticism. One of the most famous is “Love Letter Romance” with her husband Rainis.

  • The Aspazijas Boulevard was created in 1858 a long with the construction of the Riga City Theatre. Its original name was Theatre Boulevard. In 1920, after the establishment of the Republic of Latvia, it was named Aspazijas Boulevard. The entire street is bordered by a canal, and it is one of the most beautiful streets in Riga.
